If you have an Airstream [or are in the market] and want to ask about things like repairs, provenance, etc. you will want to attach images to your post. Many times images tell us much more than anything else [worth 1000 words] so please do attach photos with your posts when applicable.
Photography tips:
- Make sure you select the correct exposure settings. Your camera should be set to its auto setting for full exterior photographs. Make sure your camera is set on the macro function for closeups. You can recognize this function on most cameras by this icon:
- Always try to photograph a trailer in ideally hazy/cloudy conditions since bright direct sunlight tends to create harsh shadows and intense glare from gleaming metal. Position the camera in such a way that the item fills the entire photo.
- For closeups, do not zoom, just hold the camera close to the item. Half press the shutter release button so that the camera focuses on the item and then press it all the way to take the picture. If there are any special hallmarks we would love to see a shot of them too.
- You can find a tutorial on how to add pictures to your post here.
